View on FCC Broadband MapFios 2 Gig is the fastest connection I've ever experienced. Getting nearly 2 Gbps download. The Wi-Fi 6E router they include with this tier is excellent. Zero outages in 6 months. This is the future of home internet.
Tried Xfinity and RCN before settling on Fios. The fiber connection is so much more stable than cable, especially during peak hours. My Zoom calls never drop and gaming latency is incredibly low. Can't recommend it enough.
Fios has been the most reliable internet I've ever used. In three years, I can count the outages on one hand. The symmetrical gigabit speeds are real - consistently getting 900+ both ways. Worth the premium over cable.
The service is excellent, speeds are consistent, and reliability is great. My only gripe is the $15/month router rental. I bought my own router to avoid that, but Verizon's app features don't fully work with third-party equipment.
